Don't feel bad about hitting dead ends. My grandfather is 81 years old and he never talks about his family. He is Henry Wade Matherly and he only had 2 girls. So no one carries his Matherly name. He had 5 other brothers the oldest died in the seventies, and they have been dropping through the eighties and nineties and now there are only my grandfather and one other left. I don't know half of my cousins on that side of the family and have vague memories of family reunions and going to see one of the brothers who lived close by.

Where are you located at?
