Rufus B. Matherly was my paternal grandfather and we called my paternal grandmother Hailey (could be spelled wrong). I have no idea what her maiden name was. John R. Matherly is my father and I knew four of his five sisters. I never knew his sister Ella. My parents divorced when I was 7 and I did not see my fathers family after that. My father John R Matherly had an aunt named Irene. I don't know her last name but I got my middle name from her. I too was born at St. Anthony Hospital on July 12, 1953. I have two brothers John D. Matherly and William A. Matherly. I am trying to trace the Matherly family back far enough to find out what country in Europe they migrated from.

Thank you for your input.
