Are you talking about Alonzo Clark Mather, b. 22 Apr 1848 in NY, died 25 Jan 1941 in Los Angeles? If so, his parents were William Mather and Mary Ann Buell. He is a descendant of Rev. Richard Mather, Cotton's grandfather. Only child I know of is Martha J. Mather, b. 28 Apr 1879 in Chicago. Do you have any other information?
