Mary, have you ever checked at the courthouse where your great-grandfather and Mary were married? In the old marriage books, they have listed the husband and or wife, when they were married, where, any witnesses, etc. It also had a D out beside Doctor's name, showing he was divorced. Then we went to the divorce records and found his first wife's name. If you did that, we may can find out if he was previously married. Just a thought. Linda
