Hi Barry!!!
My name is Darlene Matheny. My grandparents were from Kings Mt. I think that is the Rutherford County. They are Grover Clevland Matheny and Ella Henson Matheny. My Dad is Walter Elisa Matheny. He was one of eight children. John, Alton,Herman,Virgil,Mrytle, Ebbie Sue, and Blanche. If they were from the same county there must be some connection. I am trying to find my great grandparents name. Maybe we can help each other.
