My book, DRAGOO CEMETERY, MARION COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA is at the publishers. This historic cemetery is now overgrown and inaccessible. You can "walk" through it from this book, while relaxing in your easy chair.
Over the years, information for some of these graves has been erroneous transcribed and published, even on paid subscription sites. Once it appeared on the Internet, the errors have multiplied.
I have researched and documented the known graves, identifying the person and family, and relationship (if any) to John DRAGOO, the original property owner. Rebecca (MATHENY) DRAGOO-PRICE is buried in this cemetery. She was the wife of William "Indian Billy" DRAGOO.
