I am in awe of the Matheny clan which I am related! I am the ggg granddaughter of Henry Everly who is the brother of Mary Ann (Peggy) Everly B. 1-22-1784 D. 10/5/1854, M. Nathaniel (Nathan? Noah? Nash?) Matheny B. ~1781 D. 1856. You folks have been kind enough to give me the history backwards, however, I need the history forward to present. My Grandmother (Martha Alice Everly Jordan) took in John Matheny (1911-200?) (Caldwell OH, Noble County) when his mother, Mary Matheny remarried to a W. A. Okey. John had a brother Edmund and best I can tell, John's father was Josiah W. (J.W.) Matheny (1881-1929), buried in Olive cemetery in Caldwell OH. My research will not take me back any further than Josiah W. Matheny. Can anyone link back in time starting with Josiah??? I would really appreciate. My mother (who is 85) and John were like brother and sister and I would really like to solve this for her.
