Thanks so much for all of the clues. Julia Kremer (Juliet) is my connection. I knew that that she married a Matheny but didn't know which one. If they moved to Kansas that would explain why I can't fine Juliet after the 1850 census. The accident that I mentioned in 1919 is where my great-great aunt was killed. Her mother was a Julia Kremer's sister. This is a great help!
