I have a Simon Harry Matheny b. August 14, 1902 Blue Earth, Fairbault County, Minnesota married to Mildred Nordgaard married August 11, 1921. Simon Harry is the son of Edward Constant Matheny b. December 28, 1873 Minneapolis, Hennipin Co., Minnesota & Ethel Saxton b. April 03, 1878 Spring Green, Sauk Co., Wisconsin. Simon was grandson to Simon Peter Matheny b. September 15, 1845 Ohio & Naomi Chase b. 1851 Ohio.
This information came from a web site. So I do not know how accurate the information is. However if you look at the 1880 census for Minnesota it has the grandfather and father listed. So if my information is correct then we must assume that the father of your Simon was the son of my Simon. I do have more great grandparents and other information of the line if you wish to email me and I would like any information you may have so I can help others. My email is rockcrab@ttlc.net
Oh yes my Last name is Matheny not Mathery. A mistake I made in registering which I have been unable to correct yet.
