I am trying to help my uncle trace his tree ,could any of you help on this family tree? I would love any info you could give me.
here is what i have so far:

1. Gary Dexter Matheny, born July 11, 1945 in Wesley Chaple,Green Bank,west virginia. He was the son of 2. Clyde Brown Matheny and 3. Mary Susan Hill. He married (1) Linda Marie Sharp. She was born November 11, 1946. She was the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Sharp and Lula Francis Galford.

2. Clyde Brown Matheny, born January 16, 1911; died February 12, 1988. He was the son of 4. John Mitchel Matheny,Sr. and 5. Altha Unice Gardner. He married 3. Mary Susan Hill.
3. Mary Susan Hill, born December 25, 1922. She was the daughter of 6. Clifton Lawrence Hill and 7. Olive Nannie Mann.
Child of Clyde Matheny and Mary Hill is:
1 i. Gary Dexter Matheny, born July 11, 1945 in Wesley Chaple,Green Bank,west virginia; married Linda Marie Sharp.

Polly Matheny Clark
Polly Matheny Clark, age 79, of Reno, Nevada, died September 2, 2001, at home of a heart attack.
Mrs. Clark was born October 23, 1921, at Naples, Virginia.
She was the daughter of John M. and Altha Gardner Matheny, of Green Bank.
After graduation from Green Bank High School in 1941, she went to Baltimore, Maryland, and worked for Social Security for ten years.
She married Joseph L. Clark, of Baltimore, in January 1947. He retired from General Motors in 1984 and he passed away September 13, 2000. They had lived in Reno since 1979.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Audrey Patterson Townsend and Alma Dunn; three brothers, Clyde, Ralph, and Conell Matheny.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Montgomery, of Port Oxford, Oregon, and Cindy Lang, of Sparks, Nevada; five grandchildren; one brother, John M. Matheny, of Green Bank, and one sister, Wilma Gibson, of Marlinton.
Services were held September 6 at Walton Sierra Chapel, Reno, with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno.
