Thanks to recent DNA results we now know that the Normans were Danish Vikings and not from Norway or Sweden and were of the exact same origin as the Anglo-Saxons who also have these ancestors. The Matchetts were originally Norman and not Hugenot and have this certain Danish Viking origin as their indigenous heritage. Anyone interested in DNA testing to sort out the family branches? Anyone know about these studies? I for one would like to look at this further.
