Signet Ring

My father wore a signet ring that his father had made for him as a duplicate of his own. According to a description (Out of a ducal coronet or, a bull's head gu. armed sa. charged with a martlet gold. for MASSY. Motto - Pro libertate patria.) at http://is.gd/rW8q it appears that it may be a Massy (Ireland) crest. My gg grandmother was Aphra Massy b. 20 Aug. 1821.

I don't see a way to attach an image to messages here but if you want to see a hi-res image of the ring, email me and i'll send it to you.

I'm curious to know if anybody here has a similar crest and especially if there is a painted version.
