Thanks Ann. For some reason, the Massey's seem to disappear when one gets to that point. My G Grandfather was James J(ackson) Massey. I know of no other James Jackson(s) in our line.Supposedly, he was named after Andrew Jackson as was his father named after George Washington. His nickname was "Wash". From what I can gather, Wash may well have married his 1st cousin Katherine Dishner, daughter of Jacob Dishner II and Mary Jane Massey.Theefore, I also strongly suspect that Wash and Mary Jane were siblings, both children of Severe Massey and Betsy Stoffel. I have a book in which Massey is spelled "Massey and "Massa" in two different handwritings. I have a family Bible in which Massey is spelled "Massey" and "Massie" also in two different handwritings one of which appears to be my Grandmothers' hand and the other is probably in my G Grandmothers' (Martha Lucy Moore) hand. Thanks for the response.Danny
