There was a french migration settlement to St. Joseph Ontario in 1846. Which is in Huron County on Lake Huron. This town was built and settled by about 30 french families. One of which was Pierre Masse who married Marie Corriveau. The parish they built there, still is operating and has a wealth of information about these French. I am sure this is part of your family tree. We should share info.
