Hi Bill,
As I was looking through the message boards I noticed you were looking for information on Pierre Masse ( 1620-1678 ).
I also have been looking for info on the family and through the message boards someone sent me info she found in a book.
Pierre Masse who came from France as a soldier, took up a land grant offered by the French king and in 1644, married Marie Pinel de la Chanie. Descendents of this couple migrated from Quebec to Ontario, where in 1849, they established new homesteads near St. Joseph.I have more if you would like. Unforunately I do have a space between the first Pierre that came from France and Toussaint Masse.
