My gggrandfather's name was "Old Grandad Mason" -- none of know his given name. Was born in Scotland, married a Sarah Moore (also from Scotland), had one daughter (my ggrandmother) Josephine Sarah Mason 1870 in Nebraska. Her father was last name of Mason and was a stonemason who had a builging company in Nebraska, Dakotas, etc.; later went to Texas.
