I just read a message on the Blow Forum that was also about Thomas Mason, 1707, father of Major John Mason m. Hannah Frost and who died in Westmoreland Co. Pa. The message said Thomas was not from Lower Norfolk, Va., and did not marry Mary Newton also from Lower Norfolk.
I joined Colonial Dames 17th Century a few years ago using the info from the "Torrance and Allied Families" book which said Thomas was from Lower Norfolk, and it was accepted.
I would very much appreciate knowing the source of this new info. I may have to drop out of the Dames.
