Interesting information on your John Mason of Philadelphia.

I also am searching for the lineage of Mary Mason who married to Samuel Scott in 1784. She had a son named David Mason (1776-1858) who lived in Richboro, Bucks County, Pa. I am not too sure if Mary's maiden name was Mason or it was her married name.

I also am looking for David Mason's father but I could not locate him. But I have David Mason's lineages. They lived in Bucks County.

According to Mary Mason Scott's children, they reported in 1880 census that mother (Mary) was born in NJ, some said in Pa.
