John Mason married Mary Nelson 27 Nov 1747 in Overwharton Parish.

Daniel Mason married Elizabeth Nelson 30 Jan 1753 in Overwharton Parish. One child, Sarah, is recorded in Overwharton records, born 15 Dec 1755. She's the only child for them I can prove (and I don't know what happened to her), but in 1783 tax rolls Daniel's household contained 9 "white souls." Analysis of his later tax records indicates a number of sons.

Daniel Jr. first shows up on Stafford tax rolls in 1800, though the designation of Daniel SR shows up earlier--indicates there were two Daniels.

Mary Nelson is named as the wife of John Mason in Henry Nelson's will of 30 Nov 1749--and he also names a daughter Elizabeth.

The Rev. William Mason was born in Overwharton Parish 30 Nov 1748 and died in Culpeper Co. 26 Apr 1823. He was minister at Mt. Pony Baptist Church in Culpeper for 35 years. He was on Culpeper tax rolls 1787--so perhaps not the William on Stafford miltia rolls, but I don't have another one that quite works in my database. Rev Wm. did have a brother John (also in Culpeper) whose oldest son was a William, but I have nothing on him at all beyond "died young."

Since we're putting all this under Yelverton, he was born about 1776 in VA (first on Stafford tax rolls 1800) and died 4 Dec 1854 in Nelson Co. KY.

There was also a Richard Mason in Stafford who lived near John and Daniel and may be another brother, but his sons moved to the Pendleton District SC before 1790. so I don't think they're relevant to most of your dates.
