I am a little concerned that the John Maskill you have married to Rachel Thompson is not the son of John and Jane Eleanor though, which I suspect is the information you have? The john (son of John & Jane) married Elizabeth Laister, and the family remained in Barwick in Elmet, although Elizabeth died in 1851. Please let me know if I was correct in my assumption.
