Dear Duncan,
Is it possible your Arthur Maskell is the one mentioned in message 147 on the Genforum "Maskell" messages list ?
I am related to Abraham and Isaac Maskell mentioned, but I have not found any records of a son called Arthur (yet).
I have only recently found out about this possible Australian connection and am not at all sure if your Arthur is related to my Maskell line or not, but thought I'd drop you a line anyway.
If we can find a connection I have loads of data about the Maskells of Frating.
