masi surname, more family?

My Grandfather Vincenzo came from a village near Rome, Italy.Came to the US twice, after 1910 settled in St.Johnsville, NY. He had blue eyes, said his family had originally come from southern France. I have been told my Dad was named after a French General. Born in the US, he had no birth certificate, first he spelled his name DeLoris, then Doloris. My grandfather's father owned a grain business, he was Thomas (married Mary Laura), his father, Antonio (married Vincenza Valla).
