Hello, I am not sure anyone is still active on this email chain, but I wanted to share what I know and see if we can make some connections. Doyle and Lucille Mashburn of Tifton were my maternal grandparents. Chester Mashburn and Maggie Hawkins were his parents, and Chester's parents were William "Tank" Mashburn and Catherin Buins. I know that Cecil Mashburn was either a first cousin or first cousin once removed to my grandpa Doyle Mashburn. There is a Cecil Mashburn living in North Georgia who is a descendant and relative.

My grandpa Mashburn was born in Murray County, GA in 1918. I did find my grandpa Mashburn in the 1920 Murray County census, and his name was misspelled as Mashborne. If anyone has any interest in connecting dots, please let me know. I live in Cumming, GA now, and interestingly, there are a lot of Mashburns here!

I look forward to hearing from any of you! ~Melton Bennett
