Does anyone have more information on this David? I'm guessing that he was son of James Mashburn and brother to Drury who died in 1838 in Burke Co., North Carolina. He doesn't appear to be the same David Mashburn that is on the 1840 and 1850 in Burke and McDowell Counties. It appears that he was born between 1770-1775.
