GA b. 1865 Frances Cogburn, sister (of M.M.) b. 1833 GA age 47 Am looking for 1880 census records for: Melville Monroe Mashburn b. 20 Jan 1846 Forsyth, Ga died 25 Sep 1915 Fulton Co, GA Buried Casey Cemetery, Fulton, GA Father of Melville Monroe: Elisha J. Mashburn mother of Melville Monroe: Sarah Ann Welborn there is some confusion about the wives of Elisha J. Mashburn: some listed as Mary Amilda Mildie Mashburn another listed: Sallie W. Head another listed Nancy Amaltha Fagan Elisha J. Mashburn was born 1814 Burke, NC and died 1850 Bolton, Fulton, GA father of Elisha J. Mashburn: Elisha Mashburn b. 1765 NC father of Elisha Mashburn (1765): James Mashburn b. @ 1745 VA father of James Mashburn (1745-VA): Matthew Mashburn . @1710 ENG father of Matthew Mashburn (1720 ENG): Edward Mashburn b. @ 1764 ENG Thnis is all info off the internet - I am not kin to any of these except a descendant of Melville Monroe Mashburn's son Horace Welborn Mashburn who married my g. aunt Lillie Baker of Ben Hill, Fulton Co, GA. Horace Welborn Mashburn and Lillie Baker Mashburn had two children: Helen (married Jack Smith and then Garner Nash) Welborn (probably Horace Welborn - WWII draft card) Any information on these families would be appreciated. Looking especially to find Melville Monroe Mashburn in the 1880 US Census since he was born in 1846 and did not die until 1915. Notify Administrator about this message?
