I have my JOHN W. NASH (MASH), who most probably was in Surry County, NC, during the early 1800s. My JOHN W. MASH is related to an elder CLAIBORN MASH, a WRIGHT MASH, a WILSON MASH who are also found in Surry County, NC, during 1800.

These families, can also be found, after moving into Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois by 1840, and then into Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Any relation here that you know of? My NASH family members have been listed as MASH , MARSH, and even NANCE at one time.
