My husband is related to this family through Henry Mash or possibly John was his first name but called Henry. He and his family wife Lavina (Asher) and children Joseph Andrew, W. Jackson, M.D. Elizabeth, A. Edward, M. Delette, C. Charles (some listed are mispelled) are listed on the 1880 Crawford Co, MO census. Acie (also sometimes listed as Asa in my records) was listed as a widower age 35 born in MO, parents born in TN. His occupation was listed as "Hauls Charcoal". Children listed were John H.6 and Catherine 5/12 (dau. born Jan.). He had a first wife who died and married again. What is the relationship between Henry and Asa--brothers? Asa 35 and Henry 34. Do you have any info that would also give me their parents. Harrison and Elizabeth Mash have two children listed in the 1860 census in Shannon Co. MO by these names. All of their children are listed as being born in ILL. I need help sorting some of these people out. Any help would be appreciated. I wrote an inquiry on the forum that was very recent you might want to read. Thanks and happy new year.
