Austin, my dad did mention the name Christobal. It was some time ago. My dad passed away five years ago, so I can*t ask him. I know I haven*t been much help, but I am going to look for my Mormon cousin to see if she has gotten any further. Her last book on the family came out more than ten years ago. I will keep monitoring this site to see you have have found any more info. You have done a great job. I really hope that we can find our roots to the old country. I am pretty sure it is Spain. I have seen other family crests from Portugal,Austria. Will let you know what I find out. Thanks,Sam.
