I am looking for information regarding the Mathias Marx/Marks family. Mathias was born in 1875 and died in 1878. He is buried Lena, Illinois. He arrived in Boston from Liverpool on 8 Aug 1870 via the ship Triploi with his daughter Margaretha (Marx) Binz (b Dec 1821 in Wintrich, Bavaria, Germany) and a son Joseph (b1822). A second son, John (b1810) was already in JoDaviess Co, Illinois. Joseph married Mary ? and had seven children: Catherine, Minnie (1854), Ellen (1858), George (1860), Susan (1861), Caroline (1866) and Rosinor (1867). John married Catherine ? and had eight children: Peter (1849), John F (1852-1938), Mary Susan (1853-1917), Nichoas J (1857-1944), Theodore (1859-1939), Sopia (1861), Katie (1864) and Augusta (1867).
