Looking for missing g.grandmother
I have recently been told that we are Marx.I have always been told that I am related to someone in the Texas Ranger museum named "Marx", but I thought it was a distant relative, and that the Marx name came in through marriage. Now, I have been told that we were all Marx. The story goes that my g.g.grandmother left her husband in Texas named "Marx" and took their four children: Adam, Eve, David, (and I think the other child was a girl also, name unknown, perhaps Gloria.)She fled to Mexico, where she met and married a Mr. Pena who took the kids to raise under the Pena name. Therefore, we have all been raised as Pena's.However, we are not related to any Pena's we have ever met. Now, we are curious about the Marx family that we may decend from.Family first names have continued to be David's, Adam's Rachel's, etc. mostly biblical names.Does anyone have a missing grandmother or great grandmother who may have left her husband Mr. Marx with at least four of the children who were Marx?Does anyone else know this story, or more?
