I am looking for information on David and Louis Marx, the founders of Marx Toys of New York.
Louis Marx b. Aug 11, 1896 - d. Feb 1982
I do not know about David.
My Great-Great Grandmother Catherine Hawkins (m. Jones) was very close to one of the brothers for a long time. I am hoping to find more information on this Irish girl.
Is there a relative of these Marx brothers who has stories about her? My grandmother is not even sure which brother she was close too as the relationship had started after Catherine left her family and went to New York. Catherine's married name at the time was Jones, but Grandma thinks she left the name behind with the man.
