Marvel photo

My great grandmother was Orpha Marvel Shelton, daughter of George and Jane Morris Marvel. Jane is suppose to have been indian. Orpha's sister was Ellen J., who married Preston C. Shelton, brother of Orpha's husband Harvey Henderson Shelton.

I recently was given a copy of a photo by a cousin, on the back of which his grandmother had written "Grandpa and Grandma Marvil. Now, this cousins grandmother, was a sister to my grandpa. So the only grandma and grandpa Marvil she could be talking about, would be George and Jane. It is an OLD photo, and at some point in its history, someone had tried to save it by going over the features with a pencil. The result is something that looks like a cross between a photo and a drawing. Still, it is what it is and I do believe it to be true. I sent a copy to a cousin in Chicago, he had once seen a photo of Jane, dressed as an indian. He confirmed this photo is the same woman, much younger and dressed in white clothes, but it is the same woman.

So, here is the deal. Anyone related to George and Jane Marvel, who would like a copy of the photo/drawing, let me know and I will TRY, to e-mail you a copy. My school just got me a new scanner that is SUPPOSE to add things like this to my e-mail automatically. If it doesn't work, then I'll need an address to mail it. No, there is no charge unless I get you know, like hundreds of request or something.
