Joseph Barren Martz was my great grandfather he was born Jan 2, 1882 and died May 3, 1948 he was married to Mary Polly Perrin Martz she was born April 7, 1884 and died Dec 17, 1966. There was several children born to this union and I don't have all the dates in front of me, but I'll get them. My grandfather, Lloyd Edward Martz, son of Joseph and Mary, was born June 22, 1911 and died October 16, 1999 he was married to Hazel Edith Darter Martz of Powhatan, Arkansas she was born March 9, 1910 and died October 10, 1998. They are both buried at Ward Cemetary in Strawberry Arkansas along with Joseph and Mary Martz. One of my grandfather's brothers is buried there along with a sister. My grandfather's brother Owen Martz died in 1978 not 1979, like I told you before and he is buried at Union Cemetary near Saffell, Arkansas. I'll get more dates if you need them. Just let me know the ones you need. I hope this helps. I'll try to get more. I am trying to find more information on my great-great grandparents Frank and Jane Ferguson Martz but they were both buried at Happy Cemetary in Lockhart, Arkansas near Cord. The cemetary has recently been bulldozed down and is now being used as a hay field. My great-great grandparents stones were bulldozed down along with several others. If I can locate anything of my grandparents that will have dates I'll try to email more information, all the children of Joseph and Mary are gone now so it may be difficult.
