Tansi!! my gg relative!! I live in Vancouver BC. There are 2 generations of Romain Martineau's. Romaine(1) & Marie are my 3rd ggrandparents. Romaine(2) & Claris Klyne are my gg grandparents.I have a lot of information that I have gathered for my Metis citizenship. My cousin has completed Martineau geneology on the father's side back to the 1600s. I have also found additional information.Pembina is very interesting. If you are talking about the log house built in 1868, this is a historical landmark. I am hopeful that it is still there. I have info on the history of the house, too much to send in an email.I may be able to scan it and send it to you.
