here is the way to get to the Martineau database at Maurices :

go to http://epf.planete.qc.ca

you will be brought to a site that is French.
First thing:
click on "english"
At the next page click on "databases"
At the next page scroll the names and find "Martineau, Maurice" click on his name.
At the next page click on "Surname Index"
At the next page click on "M"
At the next page click on "Martineau-St onge"
At the next page scroll down to find the name:
Jean Baptiste Martineau St Onge and his wife as Madeline Fournier.

this will bring you right to your line.
Jean Baptiste Martineau st. onge who married Madeline Fournier ( she is descendent of Charles the Great)
These are the parents of Micheal Martineau and his brother Oliver, the only two of their children who left Canada.
They both settled here in St. Ignace.
You will find info there.
Lots going back all the way to France.
but not much on present day.
Jane is listed as married to Abe Pond and her birth date is 1873/4 at St. Ignace.
