MEADE MARTINDALE - Meade Martindale, 72 years old, died at his home, 61 Rotary Ave., Sunday night... He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Kerr and Mrs. Mary Rose of this city; three sons, Ellery Martindale of Montrose, and Earl and Wallace Martindale.. (con't on page 23)

The Ostego Farmer - Cooperstown, NY - Friday, Oct 26, 1934 -
Charles J. Martindale - One of the oldest residents of the town of Milford, Charles J. Martindale, passed away quietly .. Wed morning of last week... Mr. Martindale was born July 30, 1850 on the Otsdawa near Otego. He was the second son of Allen and Diantha Martindale. About 1875 he came to the town of Milford and had since resided there. 56 years ago he married Emeline Sherman, who with three sons and two daughter, survive him... He also leaves two brothers, Ara J. Martindale of Sidney and Meade Martindale of Binghamton.

MRS MEAD MARTINDALE - Mrs. Mead Martindale of 6 Arthur St. died this morning at the City hospital after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Mead Martindale, two sons, Earl A. and J. Wallace Martindale of this city; her father, George Swackhamer, of Honesdale; a sister, Mrs. William Martin, of Green Island, and two brothers, George V. Swackhamer, of Onconta, and Charles Swackhamer, of Willet.
