I don't know, John, we have shared posts prior to this and we may have had some reservations concerning dates; however, you did have an unknown Susannah who married John MARTINDALE b ca 1815.

She very well could have been a younger sister of my paternal great-great-great-grandfather Joseph Reuben WEBSTER.

The abovementioned John MARTINDALE surely died circa 1865 or a few years after. His and Susannah's issue (five children) were all born in Michigan according to census information.

Also, I recently got a reply from one Donald MARTINDALE/dmarti5500@hotmail.com who seems to be descended from John Wesley and Fannie whom he says were laid to rest in Michigan. Donald returned to Michigan from Oklahoma where his parents moved after WWII.

Don states that John Wesley's father was Thomas MARTINDALE.

Do you think we could have a match? I've speculated that John MARTINDALE b ca 1815 was s/o William MARTINDALE and Elizabeth(SLAVIN?). Do you have records indicating he was s/o Don MARTINDALE II?

Thanks!

Gene
