They also had a daughter Berneda/Burneda born abt. 1905.

I think this is a possible match for David's family in 1880, Blanchard, Hardin Co, OH:
WILSON, John S. age 49 b. OH
wife Rachel age 36 b. OH
dau Mary D. age 11 b. OH
dau Martha A. age 10 b. OH
dau Hattie A. age 5 b. OH
son James F. age 1 b. OH
stepson MARTIN, David I. age 19 b. OH
brother WILSON, Alexander age 55 b. OH
other LANTZ, Mary age 17 b. OH

There's a marriage record for John S. WILSON to Rachel MARTIN on 22-Feb-1863 in Wyandot Co, OH.

In 1870 John S. WILSON, Rachel and Mary D. are in Dudley, Hardin Co, OH. No sign of Rachel's son David.

There are marriage and death records for a couple of Rachel and John's children that list Rachel's maiden name as HORNER/HARNER/HOMER.

There's a marriage record for a William MARTIN to Rachel HORNER on 27-Nov-1859 in Wyandot Co, OH.
