I have been diligently, for years, trying to find any and all inforation I can on my Fredrick Martin, specifically when he came to US, where he arrived at, WHO HIS PARENTS were, etc., etc.
Below is what I know about him so far:
Bredrick Martin
DOB: November 1827, Bavaria Germany
DOD: 1/19/1883, Socito County, Ohio
WIFE: Louisa Shafer
DOB: 4/1838, Ohio
Immigrated to US 1847+/-
1850 lived in Troy Township, Wood County, OH, with parents Henry (age 54 in 1850) and mom Catherine (age unkn) (Henry and Catherine were born in Germany -- in 1850, had Frederick, William, Henry, Eliza, and Caroline
1860 lived in Greenup County, Kentucky - Fred was head of house, Louisa was wife, children: Elizabeth, Emma, George,and John -- ALSO, Frank Myres (age 65 in 1860, born in Germany) and his son, John Myres (age 30,born in Germany) lived with them.
1861 they lived in Scioto County Ohio
1870 lived in Greenup Township, Scioto Co, Ohio, new son Fred Jr, born in 1870
1880 lived in Elizabeth Township, Lawrence County, Ohio - Frederick was head of house with wife Louisa, children: Charles, Jerome, Fredrick, Clarie, and Robert A -- ALSO Louisa's dad, Phillip Shaffer, lived with them.
1883, Fred died in Scioto County Ohio
Can not find any records pertaining to Louisa after 1880
I can not find anything regarding Henry and/or Catherine.
PLEASE, let me know if you even think you may have some information (or if you'd like more about what I've got).
