Elza or Eli Martin (1838 Virginia)

Hi,

In the 1870 census for Missouri, I find an Elza (or Eli) Martin living with his wife Mary L. (Perry) in the home of her mother, Mildred J. Perry.

I cannot find a marriage record for them.

I cannot find any info on Elza/Eli Martin.

Any help with any of these people would be greatly appreciated.
