Henry Woodson Martin was my gggrandfather. He was married to Catherine Morgan McReynolds. He was appointed an Indian Agent for the Sac & Fox tribes in 1862 by Abraham Lincoln. He was born in Prestonsburg, Floyd County, Kentucky 07 Mar 1818 and he was the son of George Martin & Levina McGuire.
I am trying to find out information about George Martin's father. I've heard it might be William H. Martin, but don't have any confirmation of that or any other information.
I am also trying to find a picture of Henry W. Martin. He lived in Paris, Illinois, Tecumseh, Kansas & died 18 Jan 1901 in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Any help would be appreciated.
