Martins - North Carolina to Missouri
I am looking for John M. Martin, who was born in North Carolina [possibly about 1833].It is possible he fought in the Civil War before moving west.He married a Nancy R. [Hedrick] Cash in Missouri [Butler or Cape Girardeau Copunty] around 1880.She was a widow with one child at the time. John and Rachel had several children, the last being Thomas Elbert Martin, born about 1895.John died before 1900.Nancy, her children, and her mother [Julietta] can be found in the 1900 census in Poplar Bluff, Butler County [MO], and in Springfield, Greene County [MO] in 1920.I cannot find them in 1910.If anyone recognizes any of these people, please write.I am most willing to share information with fellow researchers.
Keith
