My mother's maiden name was MARTH. Her great grandfather's last name was MART, Richard when he was in Germany. When he came to US it changed to MARTH. His son was Emil who was born in Berlin Germamy. He was born Dec23 1882 and came to US when he was two. Other Marth names are Bertha, William, Roy, Wilbur etc. Mostly from Norhtern IL.
