The Marston family built the farm in the 1700s. I collect old letters. And I have the original 1930s farm correspondence between the tenant farm-manager, and the Pendletons, the 1930s owners of the farm. Mary Willis Pendleton was a descendant of the Marstons. She was married to a naval officer, Lieutenant Pendleton, who was assigned to the USS Mississippi, which was based out of Norfolk! A historical society in New Hampshire tells me Mary Willis Pendleton still owned the farm in the 1960s. I know no further info, but any futher info is appreciated.
