Simon Marston married Civil War Widow Polly Porter Love. They were in Turtle, Rock CO. WI in the 1880 census with children, Merton, Webster, Letitia, Roy, and Floy...along with Polly's children by her first husband, John Love. They were Phoebe, Fred, and Ella Love who later married a Louis Beebe.
The map of Turtle township pinpoints the exact place where Polly was living in 1912 after the death of Simon Marston, and she was located next to the property of her father Philo T. Porter, which was by that time probably owned by her brother.
Philo T. was killed and scalped by indians.
I would like to find any descendants of these people...the Marstons, Loves, and Porters.
