Just out of interest, you might like to look at a site I have developed about William Marsters (I am from Akakaingaro's line). The site is http://www.williamrmarsters.com. It gives some information about William and his Palmerston family. There is a famiy tree which might be helpful, although it only goes up to William Marsters' grandchildren (who might be your grand or great-grand parents and their line, etc)
I have also researched the English side of his family, and they are on another site http://www.richardwmasters.com which tells a little bit more about William Marsters before he came to the Cook Islands.
