We all know the history of Palmerston and that our fore Mothers are from Penrhyn and noone is saying that we don't have the saku lingo in our island vocab cos there were times when I use to listen to the oldies sing as a young girl. Everyone always spoke english but now n then u will hear the old ladies say somethings in saku. You must remember that not only the penrhyn lingo was spoken in palmerston also the manihikian, rakahangan n the aitutakian lingo so I reckon it might be a mixture of all the lingos interacting together lol

As for my mum (late Rev Bill's wife) she mayb right or she maybe wrong we don't know cos we don't have any of the oldies alive to prove otherwise. So cuz u go ahead and find out all this information cos it would be a great knowlegde for us all and it would be great to meet you n have a real good discussion. But beware I can be a handful lol
