The only way to get that info is at the registra in Raro. As i say though She left Penrhyn as Matauia and ended being Matavia when she got to Palmerston. As i stated the Matavia name was passed down to you's. All Penrhyns Know this. Talking to these Palmerstons all the lullabys that were passed down to you's are Penrhyn. But over the years they'd changed or sung something that sounded like it. So we wrote exactly what the real lyrics were for these good friends of mine. I even remember the Late Rev Bills wife insisting they were Rarotongan Lullabys. Unfortunately they are all Penrhyn. I am in the process of teaching young Burke Marsters how to speak Penrhyn. He always wandered where these Palmerston words came from? Until he Overheard some of the words spoken by myself? For a young fellow he surely knows his family ties. Next time i'm in raro i'l have a look at the registra just to confirm that Matauia name? Just remembering? All information that filtered down to what we know now? Come from English speaking people trying to pronounce island names. Not too sure about the first lot of children, weather it was strictly English? Thank you kindly. Be good to get together and have a real good discussion. Hope to hear from you soon.
for your reply. Hope to hear from again soon. Next
