Trying to find out the parent's of this William Marsden birth ? d 10/30/1843 in Bakewell, England. His sister Ann Marsden married John Broomhead in Bakewell and their daughter Martha is mentioned in the Will of William Marsden as wife of George Gregory. George and Martha (Broomhead) Gregory anmes their son William Marsden Gregory.
In the Will:
MARSDEN, William - of Calver p. Bakewell, farmer, grocer, corn dealer, 23 Sep 1843. Died 30 Oct 1843.
niece Mary wife of Samuel BRADBURY of Hathersage Booths, a farmer; niece Martha wife of George GREGORY of Calver, a labourer; John SMITH son of George and (my niece) Ellen SMITH of Litton Derbyshire; nephew Thomas BROOMHEAD of Calver - to have freehold estate in Stony Middleton Eyam in the occupation of John MOOLY [Ed: MOSLY?]; nephew William BROOMHEAD; Robert TOMLIN of Knouchley Stoke Derbyshire, farmer.
Witnesses: Thomas MANDER solicitor of Bakewell and William BROMLEY of Calver a book keeper.
