TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
URGENT INFORMATION NEEDED RE. DESCENDANTS OF THE JAMAICAN FAMILY OF THE MARSDENS; THE HERON-MARSDENS; THE WILSONS; AND THE HERON-WILSONS OF SOUTH MANCHESTER, JAMAICA.
Through this forum, I am searching for descendants of :-
(A) the HERON-MARSDEN family and/or the MARSDEN family of South Manchester, Jamaica;(B) the HARRIETT WILSON family of Cross Keys/ Newport, South Manchester, Jamaica; (C) the ELLEN WILSON Smith family of Mandeville, Jamaica; (D) the ROBERT (AKA "BOB") SMITH family of Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica; (E) "Herbert" WILSON and his brother, Gladstone WILSON of South Manchester (sons of William G. Hogg Wilson (2),JP, of "Ayr, Melrose, and Hartham" Plantations, Manchester, and businessman of Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica; (F) Violet WILSON (daughter of Arthur E. Woodburn Wilson of "Hopewell" property); and/or (G) any other connecting family to the abovementioned group who can provide historical information (whether oral or recorded) necessary to assist me with very important ON-GOING research on THE WILSONS, THE HERONS AND THE MARSDENS.
Both Arthur Wilson and his younger brother, William(2) are two of the Heron-Wilson grandsons of Captain Alexander Woodburn Heron, JP, of Wigton, Williamsfield, Shooter's Hill among other plantations in Manchester, Jamaica.
From oral family tradition, we note that the Marsden family of South Manchester in Jamaica have tied with the(a) Heron; (b)Heron-Wilson and/or (c) Wilson families twice in the 19th century, and several times in the generations of the above family groupings of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Thank you for your assistance in advance.
